Anyone installed this? I had the ABS headliner installed, went to install the console finally...made the cuts and guess what, the damned thing doesn't fit right. The contour on the front of the console doesn't even match the abs headliner. There's a huge fricken gap... AAHH!!! Anyone who has done the install and has some pointers? I'm about to grind the front of the console, where it curves back up so I can fit it tighter to the headliner. So much for cutting up a 500$ headliner (yes, shipping large stuff to Europe is murder)

 

Just curious, is your car a T-top or a hard top? The T-top console is flat while the hard top version has a curve to it. If you have hard top and yours wont fit, you might see about a console from a T-Top model, might fit more flush with the headliner. I really just guessing here as I have never dealt with a plastic headliner before. If you have access to both types of console, its worth a check.

 

coupe, hard top. Not a t top.i have the correct console and it still doesn't fit right. The flat t top one would make it even worse. It's the ABS headliner, it's not the correct shape on the front. Was hoping someone would have installed an abs headliner and a console in a non t top car. Searching only yields t top results.
