Looking for Experience with New Seat Upholstery from "Car and Truck Upholstery"
I am looking at buying a 1989 Trans Am GTA that is in reasonable condition (rust free, straight, complete, runs & drives) but needs interior work including new seat upholstery. The car has Palomino (tan) color leather-like seats. The front seat covers are SHOT, but the foam appears OK and the rear seat is starting to crack.
Has anyone used replacement seat covers from "Car and Truck Upholstery"? They make replacement OEM-style seat covers for 3rd Gens. I am wondering what their quality is before I plunk down $400 for a set. Here is the set that looks correct for an '89 GTA:

Welcome to the site. Here's a link over to our seat recover kit.Not sure if your car has a split or solid back seat, but we offer the Hampton vinyl and it would be about the same price as this vinyl kit (depending on the rear seat). It's nice material
We can also send you a sample of the material.Just PM me your full name and shipping address, phone number too and I can get it out to you.

Yes as a matter of fact I bought my entire kit through car and truck. It turned out great. I am just running into trouble finding carmine red encore velour seat covers, carpet, sail panels and T-Top headliner, that I am resorting in changing the plastic from carmine red to black. here's the pics. I have a solid rear...

Hawk's third gen also has a complete kit that will set you back about 1280.00 + shipping. Your going to find out once you change one thing or things it'll turn into a wild fire.
