Camaro/Firebird console lid swap?

Car: 1991 Camaro RS/SS,1966 Ford Mustang
Engine: tweaked 350, modded 200ci. 6cyl
Transmission: 700R4 w/ vette servo, T5-5 speed
Axle/Gears: 3:42 open drum/ 2:73 lsd
Camaro/Firebird console lid swap?
I've always liked how sleek the firebird console lids looked, is it possible to swap one in place of my broken camaro lid? Thanks!

From what I remember, no. The Camaro's hinge is on the back, the Firebird one is on the side. Both are completely different shapes and sizes; I don't think you're going to be able to swap without it being a major chore.

honestly with the time and money im sure you could do it. but its not going to be an easy, fit right in conversion. the firebird console lids are on hinges on the passenger side, while the camaros hinge is in the back. the camaros consoles are much shorter compared to that of the firebirds.

Easy. You'd just have to swap the Firebird center console for your Camaro center console.
