My column moves back and fourth from center into the 7 o'clock position so I decided to fix it.I took my column apart today and found that the four bolts are tight but the pivot pins almost fell out. It looks like the aluminum housing is worn out. Has anyone ever replaced the housing or has a part number for it? I'm thinking of switching the column out but i cant find one with a airbag and vats. Could I switch an older column into mine and then bolt my airbag onto it? I have vats bypass so it doesnt matter if I get a column with it or not. Also will firebird columns fit into camaros? My car is a 1990 camaro V6 Auto.
