I've read on here somewhere about using 4th gen window sweeps on the outside of the window, and it was supposed to work really well.

Anyone ever tried using the top plastic with the inner sweeps from a 4th gen, attached to the top of the door panel from the 3rd gen?

 

I don't know but my girlfriend just totalled our 4th gen and the door sweeps on it are perfect. I was wanting to read up some on the subject before I went ripping parts off of it and then find out I was wasting my time. Hopefully someone else chimes in on this.
