i just bought an 87 rs and the gas guage doesnt seem to work properly and the speedo is five miles faster than what im actually doing, so it says 50 im really doing 45. and it squeaks when im driving sometimes. any advice or solutions for a fix? thanks

 

gas gauges are typically liars... get used to it. fill up often and use your trip mileage counter to determine when to fill up. thats what is do. as far as the speedometer.. i havent got the knowledge of that subject to help you. and the squeaking... where does it sound like its coming from? do you hear it when the motor is running? find out the area the squeak originates from and maybe we can pinpoint whats wrong. if you cant find where it comes from while your driving.... have somebody rock your car and you go around and keep a close ear out for the noise. good luck
