my window sounds like its a dying whale when i roll it up and down. i took the door panel off and sprayed some silicon spray on everything i could see but it still makes it ad its driving me crazy. is there something else i need to do to get the noise to stop?

 

You can try to adjust the window,or put some white grease on the track.Not sure if the sweeps are dryed out and that's what's making the noise.

Just a few things to try and check.

 

Yeah, Ide say some white grease. They sell it in a spray can, and it works wonders on squeaks, and such.

 

mine makes a loud whine noise because of the adjusters on the top of the door on the inside under the black top piece theres 2 of them on each side it seems like the fuzzy stuff is kinda wore off

 

yea i looked at those fuzzy things also and mine are worn out some it might be a possibility and my window sweeps also

 

sorry to revive an old post, but my window is making that same screeching noise when it goes up and down. i was just wonering if the noise stopped when u replaced the felt pieces or if it was some other issue?
