I had my seats reuphostered and I took the seat tracks off to clean the rust off and paint them but now on the drivers side I can't remember where that big spring goes that has the plastic cover over it. Can anybody send me a picture of what it looks like or where it is supposed to go. Does it go on the inner track or the outer? I'm thinking the outer?

I would but my car isn't here. It's the largest spring part of the seat tracks, there are the small ones but this is a large one and has a kind of cover that goes over it.

 

i'll take a peek at one of my spare seat sets and se what your speaking of.

if you are mentioning of the biggest spring that has the cover over it.. it runs sort of diagonally across the bottom of the seat, connecting from one side of the seat track to the other.. this allows both the seat tracks to sync together..my seat tracks may be different though i dont think there the manufactured ones
