How To Remove Interior Trim?

Well I just bought my first car, an '89 Trans Am, and one of the first things I need to fix is the headliner. Its in good condition, but it sags a ton. Im wondering how/if you can remove the trim going from the A pillar over the door without breaking off the clips.

Doubtful. The plastic is 20 years old or so. Page #3 of the following link provides some info and pics:

Re: How To Remove Interior Trim?

Hey, thanks. I managed to pop all the trim out, and only broke 1 clip on each side of the A-pillar trim. I also completely stripped and redid the headliner. It's back in now and it looks great.
