Hey, a couple days ago i was in my 1982 trans am and i accidentally pressed to hard on the center console's latch for the lid, and it snapped. I cant seem to find the part anywhere. I figured maybe some one on this said might have it and be willing to sell it to me. It would be greatly appreciated. I'm only 17 and i received the car from my father and i don't want him to think i'm going to treat the car badly, so id like to get the part and fix the problem!
Please reply back with some help.

(I'm just looking for the latch that keeps the console lid down)

Hey, i don't have a picture on me of the broken part. But i can try to explain to you what it looks like. Its simply a square button on the side of the console that have "antlers" at the back side, which are used to compress when the button is pushed and to expand to lock the lid back down. If you could help me out it would be awesome!
