90 Camaro Seat Belt Change
I have to change the seat belt in my Camaro since the one that is in it now is cut. In order to change it, do I have to take the headliner out? What else do I have to do? The car has T-Tops if that makes a difference. Thanks, Ron

Yes, you have to remove the headliner. Your seatbelts have retractors in the roof as well as besides the seat.
Since you have to do this anyway, if it were me, I'd swap out for the 4th gen seatbelts - they'd be newer, look nicer, and work better. But swapping to 4th gen belts would require a bit of fabbing on the door sill plates, since the 4th gen belts only have retractors in the roof. If you do a search on here for "4th gen seatbelts" you'll come across a thread where a member showed how he made the mod look nice with an extra piece of door sill.
But either way, headliner must come out - so might as well plan on recovering it as well while it's off. Also consider stiffening it up some with a little fiberglass resin and an old paint brush (on the side against the roof), as these things are old, and very brittle (ie BE CAREFUL removing it).
