grant steering wheel installation problems.

I'm wanting to put in a grant custom steering wheel on my 92 camaro
how do I remove the stock steering wheel?
what tools do I need?

you need to remove the steering wheel over thing (airbag). You have to access the bolts on the back of the steering wheel. I don't remember if they are phillips screws or torx screws. Reach behind the wheel and you'll feel the holes (since they are facing the gauge cluster). After you take those screws off, you'll be able to remove the air bag and the horn button assembly. Once you've done that, you should be able to see the hub where the wheel attaches to the steering column. You'll need a steering wheel puller to remove the old wheel. Once you've popped it out, put the grant hub on and bolt it down and then bolt the grant steering wheel to the hub...

and yes it's a stock 92 rs camaro so it does have an airbag.

i was doing this and didnt know about the wheel puller ahhaa so thats why it wouldnt come off...
