I know... i searched... still confused *4th gen console*
I read that the ls1's are the best for the thirdgens.
However my question is:
Would I need to buy a firebird *radio pod* to make the camaro/firebird ls1 console fit ? or could I just still use my factory 1991 radio pod?
Any help appreciated.

You will need to buy a firebird/trans am radio pod as the camaro is built into the console. This is the way I am going as soon as I can find a cheap 4 th gen manual console.

i guess i would have figured that out if my Z was here in California with me. I'm buying a lot of parts to work on the Z when I get back to SC for 3 weeks in April.
I guess I will begin my quest for a black FIREBIRD radio pod.... (i imagine the 91-92's would look the best?)
appreciate the help---
