Common problem. Clean with WD-40 and relube with white grease. While you're inside the door panel, consider the following link:

Re: weak lock motors...help
i had the same problem and all i did was take the door panel off and spray everything with wd-40 and they havent failed i sprayed my window motor to and that worked better idk if its my imagination or not but hey guess i made out
Re: weak lock motors...help
Be sure to do as JamesC says . . . loosen them up with WD-40 but spray them with white lithium grease or spray after you work them some. WD works good to free things up but is not a good long term lube.

I just went through the same thing. The door panels come off much easer than I thought. One thing I will add, I didn’t get ALL of the moving parts on the inside of one of the doors, so take your time. Looks like I'm going to have to go back in. Another thing I didn’t think of until after I was done was to lube the inside of the locks, where the key goes. Once I did that I almost crapped my pants. Before, it felt like the key was going to break; now it turns with almost no effort. I also got myself a door panel popper tool, ( http://www.sourcingmap.com/pieces-noscratch-car-door-panel-trim-removal-tool-audio-refit-set-p-30471.html ) it made getting the door panels off a synch. Once it was al said and done, I'm sorry I didn’t do it sooner.

check that your relay is grounded good behind the driver side kick panel. they used a self tapping screw to ground the relay to the body and it works itself loose over time.

Resurecting this thread.
I tried spraying lubricant as mentioned and nothing. Other than a nice and clean looking mechanism. Ended up buying new AC/Declo motors from Classic Industries. Took a couple of hours on the first (learning curve) and the passenger door took all of half an hour. Hooked everything up and replaced the door panels and other hardware.
It worked!!! Ever since 1993 my locks were tempermental. Now they work as they should have from the factory.

Re: weak lock motors...help
Well the boxes were picked up already and I was too late. They were original AC/Delco ordred from classic industries. But i'm sure aftermarket will work fine as well. Don't forget to transfer the brackets from the old units to the new ones.
