how bad is this damage and how much do you think it will cost?

how bad is this damage and how much do you think it will cost?

my seats been ripped since i pulled them out of my old 90 parts car. well im getting around to completeing the cars interior and i wanna get this seat repaired. i can tell the foam is alittle damaged( pics below) but how much do you think an upholstry shop will charge to replace this?

Since they are not the "CAMARO" printed seats or anything special ... I'd keep my eye out for 4th gen seats in good shape and swap. I did that in mine, nice seats, and driver side is electric 6-way!

you can get a decent shop to repair that for less than $200. as long as they can match the material for cheap. but like n00b said, you can get way better (more comfy), non ripped, 4th gen seats for half that.

I had the same issue. I ordered fabric from SMS and then paid $100 to an upholstry shop to repair the seat. So my total cost was approx $200 but I have alot of extra fabric for my next repair (should it arise).

well i had my headliner done today and i asked him what he would charge to have it repaired and he looked at it and told me $140. he does amazing work so im gonna have that done.

Is that material kind of thick & heavy or is it thin & light weight?

We have the same wear on the bolster!!

Its more thick and heavy...perfect replacement. I had that work done 2 years ago and so far it still looks like new.
