Headliner Replacement Clips

I am getting ready to replace the headliner in my 1987 IROC. Should I be looking into purchasing any plastic clips that hold the headliner in place, or are they not needed? I have not found any available.

Re: Headliner Replacement Clips

i wondered this too, with most aftermarket places that sell the headliner, they dont use clips, they use the A/B pillers to hold it in place, so like its naturally held down.
i think this is what i recall hearing, not sure. some people attach it with velcro also.

There are headliner clips along the front - expensive litttle suckers - not available at the store - search ebay, modern day muscle, thirdgen ranch, hawks.

I found some at www.camarocentral.com. It was $10 for the three front and one rear clip.
