Re: Shift **** Help

There really aren't that many aftermarket ***** that will fit unless you're looking to spend big $$$ on just a shift ****. When I first did my swap, I had an APC ****/pedal set I used because I didn't have a brake pedal pad... I had to take the pad off of the clutch pedal as well, and even then, they kept falling off, no matter how tight I made them. They were thrown out a long time ago.
As for the shift ****, I thought the directions were simple... Slip it over the end of the lever, tighten the set screws and center the ****, and go. It DIDN'T fit! I had to screw the thing DIRECTLY onto the shift lever! And even then I only got about a half inch of the thing on there, leaving the lever about 2" too long... That got replaced with a $5 stock shift **** I bought from someone on here...

Re: Shift **** Help

Years ago, I took a pool ball, drilled it out & threaded it. Easy new shift ball. Easy on a manual tranny, since there it no lock-out button like on an automatic.
