So u repaired your first one then it cracked agian? That sux. Just wait until you see my dash pad tomorrow. Ill take pictures.

The repair was too aggressive. It required major sanding to level it, and that doomed the whole project because it made the shell paper thin

If your pad is warped, you can't even use a dash cap. It would show the warpage. Keep your eyes open, good dash pads can still be found
