Re: interior hardware
A self service wrecking yard is the best place to get replacement OE screws and misc small interior stuff for next to nothing -$. If that's not an option for you, try a few supporters / vendors on this site and or post your need on the parts wanted location on the classifieds also on this site.
As to the removal of stripped and or broken screws, just use your imagination and whatever tools you have. Try not to inflict any more damage that necessary... you've already had enough help there.
Good luck

Re: interior hardware
Wow! $40 for screws?
Most of the screws on the Camaro and early Firebird dash are molded into the plastic panel. If some nitwit tried to remove the fake screws and stripped the plastic, the only way to fix them is to replace the panel.
Usually you can tell the fake screws from the real screws if you look really close.
