Ignition Lock mishap! (pics) HELP !!!!

The VATS contacts failed in the lock cylinder, so it was time for a replacement. Getting to it is pretty straight forward, but I found that the SRS coil didn't want to come out so easily. I couldn't tell what the problem was until I got it out...

Doh.
Well, on top of that, I can't get the turn signal switch loose, and I think all my problems lie with the fact that I can't any of the wires to give me some slack!

I can't get any of these to loosen even the slightest.

So, I have two questions. Can I try to tuck the ribbon back in to the SRS coil and reinstall it (or am I SOL), and how to get these wires to give me some slack? I've even loosened the steering column bolts, and no dice. Any help?
