4th gen dash

I've been doing a little bit of reading, and it seems as though the 4th gen dash swap and not to much work to get it in, thats it's mainly a wiring mess, is that true? I want to keep a/c, does that make it significantly harder? the that car is a 1991, and the dash is a 1995, and I'm swaping a similar vintage LT1 and 4l60E.

Thanks for any help-

Eric

Re: 4th gen dash

yea its pretty easy (except for wiring...unless you are me and good at it) the a/c is a bit harder....mounting is easy (just cut the 4th gen ducts to fit and seal with duct tape.) the controls are the hard part except the fan speed switch (direct plug in) as for the vac lines you have to match those up and i still havent figured out what to do about the hot/cold selector. my is manual with that cable and the 4th gen is electronic. i put the cable in an easy to reach spot so for now i just reach down and push in and pull out the cable
