For everyone that has done the 4thgen dash swap, I want to see the things that you aren't happy with. I hear there are a couple gaps and what not. I'm thinking about doing a swap, but I want to be sure it will look good.

Well the main area's are the A/B pillars on the sides of the dash. I found the B pillar to be easily modded in. The A piller can be done and looks ok from the inside but definatly not up to factory quality at all. The fit and finish will be poor without some glassing of those items.

I'm trying to see my options. It seems most people aren't happy with the finished result.
Also does anyone know if a 3rdgen or 4thgen dash will fit into a 1st generation camaro? If so I'm thinging about putting the 04-06 GTO dash in my camaro, because I know that dash fits in the 1st gens.

I have seen 4thgen dashes in 2ndgens but im not sure how the 1st and 2ndgen compatibility goes as far as the dash goes. Anything can be put in pretty easy its only a matter of making it functional and stock looking after it's in.

There is a member on here who has that dash but from the Austrailian version mounted in his thirdgen. Do a search he had some pics up.
