RPM Tach not working

I have a 92 Camaro and the rpm tach no longer works. A few years ago I noticed that the tach would read high and higher on the rpm gauge until one day it sagged and stayed on the red line side of the gauge.

How can I fix this? Thx.

Make sure you search before posting a question. I searched "tach wrong" and that was the 3rd thread.

FYI, I've already read that thread before posting but don't think that is the issue. That thread talks about the rpm tach not reading correctly. My issue is that the tach in not reading at all.

I just wanted to know if someone has encountered this issue before and could let me know how they may have fixed it. I have read other posts but wasn't so sure it fit my situation.

Right there you said it was reading too high. That is your problem! It will cost you a whopping $2 to fix it if you follow the instruction on that post.
