Hey all I need a picture of a 1992 firebird rear hatch lock mechinizem, and a place to buy the lock cylinder. My car lit on fire melting most of the back end, for some reason the lock mech. was untouched but i think was not compleatly unharmed. Im thinking it not all there. Also I got a lock mech. from a 91 and it wont line up or fit and there is a few more plug ins and wires than mine. Idk how to wire it up or if it is salvageble. If it isent ok, and there is no way to get the 91 to work( i tore it up a bit looking at it to try to figure out to try to figure out the burnt one) how do I keep the hatch latched and locked so no one can get in. the latch dose work but to get it open with out wires I need to crawl in and use a pair of plires on this litle piece metal that turns to release the latch. I have a lock but it was shot before the fire and came out affter. If you could help me that would be great, i need all the help I can get.
