OK so since the day I bought my car, the dimmer function of my headlight **** has never worked. If you turned it, the interior lights would all flicker, cut off and right back on but wouldn't brighten/dim like intended.

I bought the $20 amautoparts replacement off ebay. JUST put it in a half an hour ago and what do I have to say for it? NOTHING! It doesn't dim either! The factory switch would at least TRY albeit fail miserably to dim the lights, but this one is locked in full on. rotating the rheostat does absolutely nothing. No dim, no flicker, just full on. Also something I noticed that was the same with the unit I removed, it doesn't seem like I can tighten that bolt enough to get the switch snug to the dash. It's in there enough to keep the switch where it should be but It's loose enough that the switch just flops around in there. Anyone else have a similar experience?
