I don't believe what i did. The top dash piece...i saw one on hawks and was going to order it since mine is cracked and faded. With this idea i threw mine out...and i went to order it..and it's only a cover..
I'm kickin' myself! anyone know where to get a new aftermarket one online i can order that isn't cracked by the sun?

I didn't want to turn to ebay cause you never know what you're getting. Ive gotten some bad things off of ebay(thankfully not for my car) Thanks..i'll just have to bid on something and hope for the best =)

 

I just looked at that ebay dash and the speaker covers/grills look like they have been cut-out and replaced. They look really good. I asked the seller about them and he said they are "factory" and it is an "early" dash. Does this sound/look right to you guys?

 

I use ebay all the time and some tips when using it are make sure if you have any questions to just ask, look at all the pictures closly, read all the details, make sure to check everything over ecspecially if it says the words "as is", use paypal cause they can get you your money back, and if the part you ordered isnt what you saw make sure to email the people as soon as possible through EBAY ONLY, ebay saves the messages and sees them, they can get you your money back.

 

Has any one installed one of those dash caps was it hard and how did it look?
