Fabric paint work well?
Fabric paint work well?
I have my original red seats that are in very nice condition minus slight fading on the front seats and the top of the back seat is nearly completely white its so faded. I saw the fabric paint at the auto store but wanted to see if anyone has tried it. Does it flake off after a while? Does it change the feel of the fabric? Thanks!

I tried some of that fabric paint on the some interior pieces with the carpet on them. The color has held out good and hasnt started flaking, but it did change the feel. It is a lot stiffer now and doesnt feel like carpet.

I tried the stuff on an old seat once, color hasn't faded at all. But it makes the fabric feel stiffer and rougher.

I used the spray fabric paint and if you read the instructions it comes out perfect
1 clean your seats welllllll
2 spray 6-9 inches away and use a sweeping motion
3 allow each coat to dry 15-20 minutes
4 u shouldnt get a good finish until coat number three
ensure u dont coat this stuff on just spray it on lightly
and have fun
