Seat belt return springs are weak. Any fixes?
My 89 has only about 49.000 miles on it. It's front seat belt return springs are getting quite weak. I'm constantly have to give them a quick tug to snug them back up. Can i adjust/fix this or do i need to just replace?? Thanks guys!!

You could try a little bit of WD-40 sprayed into the retractor shaft ends once you pull the belt all the way out!! I tried this on some belts that I removed from a junkyard Camaro, and it seemed to work really good!!!
Good luck finding replacements, not really easy to do!!
I have a drivers side belt that needs to be fixed, because the retractor won't retract, so I'm going to try and replace a clock spring on the side of the retractor to see if that fixes it!!
Wish me luck!!
