Where should i put my 5" tach?

Where should i put my 5" tach?

Got an auto meter 5 inch tach with a shiftlight tonight from my bro..where is the best place to put it? anyone have pics of your favorite mounting spot?

Bad pic but that's where I've got mine. I don't like wires showing and that seemed like the best place.

yeah ive seen that done on alot of camaros but i got a firebird (should have specified that) so the dash is a little different...i dont know if i want it up on the dashboard..

i would put it on top of the dash next to the a-piller

Ah I would have known that if I would have just looked. I couldn't put it on the dash myself. Anywhere but the dash.

i thought about puttin it next to the A pillar..in the middle of the dash would kinda block the view quite a bit

When I first got my Camaro going I had my tach mounted to the A pillar right where the A pillar meets the dash. It worked pretty good like that. Mine didn't have a shift light though so I'm not sure if that would interfere or not.

no it seems like there is plenty of room for the shift light if i put it there and seems that is where i am going to Thanks for the replies!
