4th gen heater cable
Before I get started, yes I have searched.
I am trying to figure out how you guys made the 4th gen HVAC control the 3rd gen cable operated hot/cold door. I have been staring at it for days and people reference it in their posts but nobody has actually explained how they did it. I don't want to reinvent the wheel but I may have to if nobody has any pics or suggestions. I am confused as to why people are using an S10 cable just becuase its longer. The 4th gen rotary **** has a completely different movement than the older syle lever action cables. This is the biggest headache I have had so far and I need some help.

Re: 4th gen heater cable
I cut the tab that the cable sits on off of the 4th gen box off. I then attached that tab to the pivot point of the third-gen door with a screw. Once I determined what direction the tab needed to sit to get the most travel, I epoxied it on in addition to the screw.
