Replacing seat belt recoil question
I need to replace the seatbelt recoil system on both side because they dont' work properly...I'm having trouble getting the right ones from the dealer, and I"m wondering if theres a better aftermarket system to get.

Re: Replacing seat belt recoil question
dunno if this will help or not but i do know there was a seatbelt recall for thirdgens. try a different dealership as well. some dealers wont help with a 20+ year old car that has been dc'd some will. i also remember a seatbelt post covering this topic on the forums try a forum search too.
good luck

Re: Replacing seat belt recoil question
There are several posts around here for using 4th gen belts. They are supposed to bolt right in. I haven't tried it, but the car me and my son bought has messed up belts, so if it quits raining, I am gonna hit the yards this weekend. I know where there are a few and I want to get 4th gen seats, so might as well get the belts to.
