Truck Liner interior question! Please Help

So I am stripping down the interior, and going to truck liner the floor boards. After that's done I will be installing new carpet. My question is before I put the truck liner down do I need to remove the seem sealer, or can it stay???? I ma struggling with this question. I tried to do a search but came up empty handed.

Thanks!

Re: Truck Liner interior question! Please Help

I doubt the truck liner will bond to the seam sealer. It will create a point for the truck liner to begin peeling. I don't know if its wise to remove the seam sealer either.
