Ok guys I've searched for this already and after getting sidetracked many times I have decided to just make a new post. I also realize that this really isn't 3rd gen related but a lot of people do this swap so hopefully someone has some answers for me. As you guys can see the driver's seat needs to be recovered and he says the lumbar doesn't work. First off I see people wanting $700 plus shipping for these seats in perfect condition. So do you guys think I got a good deal or taken to the cleaners? I don't know anymore about the seats than what's listed other than I am the new owner, I didn't really ask as I figured there would be tons of people bidding on them last minute and I wouldn't get them anyway but when I saw no one had bid on them in the last 10 minutes I thought I better try.

Second of all I have done google searches and can not find any troubleshooting tips or a schematic or pics showing how they work or anything.

Third question I have heard these seats are the exact same as the gta seats other than the headrests, some switches and moving the airbag to the passenger seat and using 2 air tubes instead of 1, is this correct? The reason I ask is I haven't been able to find replacement seat covers other than ebay which are usually $899 plus shipping but I know you can get gta reproduction seat covers from hawks or 1aauto but I haven't seen any for the 4th gen seats, so I'm wondering if gta seat covers would work.

If this info has been covered somewhere please just let me know where it is as I did search for a long time. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Do check with Hawks. Swapping the seat covers should be easy, the springs should be a simple fix(you can fix any foam issues at the same time) and Hawks should be able to advise on the other questions.
