So, I bought the stock three spoke steering wheel for my z-28 (round button) and I bought a button for it separately because it did not come with one. However, it seems like the round button is too small for the whole to lock in nicely. It just seems like it would wobble and fall out, let alone even stay in place. What's the problem?

 

There were a few different 3 spoke style steering wheels for camaro with a round horn button.Z28/Iroc,84-86 Berlinetta and 87 LT.Z28 and Iroc had a leather wrap while the others had a foam grip with finger cutouts on the back side

 

How do I know which one I have? I do not have the puffy one around the edges. I have the three spoked one. Normal leather wrapped I guess. But the horn button is too loose in the middle.

Maybe this will help in trying to figure out what button I need.

 

That steering wheel is from a firebird and your horn button is missing the metal plate that has the mounting clips.not sure if that horn button will even mount on that wheel
