My Free 4th Gen Seats.
Stopped by a friends house about a year ago and he had these just sitting in his yard. At the time, he had spraypainted them black.
I asked him about them and he just gave them to me. I took them home and started cleaning. LOTS of cleaning. I have a handheld steamcleaner that I used in combo with some soapy water and a scrub brush. This is what I wound up with. I LOVE them and they go with my car perfect. What'cha think?

Thanks for the compliments guys. I probably have about 10 hrs invested in the cleaning process of these, but the good news is that there are no rips or tears in them. He didn't like the red part, so he painted them...lol

Looks great!
I'm thinking about doing a 4th gen seat swap.
Are they really that much more comfortable?

I think they are, but it's always gonna be a personal preference. You'll probably want to sit in a 4th gen before you do the swap to make sure you like them.

Re: My Free 4th Gen Seats.
3rd gen seats in good shape are just as comfy as 4th gen ones IMO. The problem is the foam is generally old and smashed in the 3rd gen seats so they just dont' feel as comfy as newer less worn seats. The seats in my 91 are in really good shape and they are just as comfy as my 4th gen T/A ones butt/back wise, I just wish it had the side and lumbar support.

Lol. It's alright. Get's in the way of shifting though with a bigger drink. I'm working on something custom that I don't thing anyones done yet. Believe me, this idea is definately outside the box.

Not bad -- very nice for cloth! They used those red/black cloth seats in all the ads and dealer photos in 1993-94, but you rarely saw them on a car. Nowadays, if you can even find a car with them, they're always faded/torn and look awful. Looks like you picked up a nice set though!
Steering wheel next? Sorry, couldn't resist -- that's probably my least favorite steering wheel ever installed in any passenger car, much less an F-Body. Just can't believe that someone thought that wheel looked good enough to put in all the lower level Camaros. I would've even taken the horizontal "two spoke" Caprice steering wheel over that. No offense though, I just think a different wheel would really help out that interior.
