Carpet
Im sure this has been discussed before at length , but a search did not yield anything. What is the best carpet to buy? Classic has free shipping this weekend, so I was thinking of buying it from them. Looking on E-bay some of the carpet comes with the thick jute backing. If I remember correctly Classics it fairly thin. What has everyone used and were you happy with it?

Re: Carpet
These days, ACC makes the best carpet. I just bought some from 1A Auto. They have a good price, plus they are a forum sponsor.

Re: Carpet
I think all of it comes from the company ACC now. So the product should be identical with the only difference in the backing. I went with only the light insulation one (forget what it was called). Only in the well along the sides in the trunk does it not lay down picture perfect.
Just a matter of finding best price along with best service. Always keep TGO sponsors in mind if ya can
Oh and measure twice, cut once

Re: Carpet
as mentioned, ACC's pretty much who everyone is selling (including us at 1AAuto). works out very well for most as long as you take your time when installing. Like Dman said, measure twice, cut once.
after i get my 5.3L swap done, I too will be doing up some carpet and would be more than confident to use what we sell in my own car.
