Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums but I thought maybe someone could help point me in the right direction.

I just bought my first Firebird, an 88, and I so far know nothing about nothing about it. So far I've change, added really since it didn't have calipers or pads, the brakes. But I can not seem to get the truck open. The key doesn't turn one way or the other. After reading some it seems as there might me another way of opening it but I don't know where to find it in my car. Is there a release of some kind inside that will pop the back hatch or is there something else I can try to open it up.
