nordskog dash problem

Car: 1991 camaro z28 convertible
Engine: 5.0 v8
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.23 borg worner
nordskog dash problem

when im driving sometimes my mph on the nordskog dash reads 0mph and then itll eaither stay there or itll flicker and read how fast im going need help figuring out whats wrong with it please help

Call nordskog, when i had mine years ago.I had a similar issue.They had me ship it to them & they fix the problem.Was a heatsink i think & maybe a resistor.Didnt cost me anything to fix, but that was 7-8 years ago.

well the site dosnt exist anymore and the dash only reads zero when i hit a really bad pot hole or go up hill so im thinkin it could be the vss or a loose conection

Nordskog was absorbed by Cyberdyne a few years back. Don't quite remember when. But, yes, as always, check the obvious stuff first, the VSS connection and wiring under the car, the buffer connections by the ECM, etc. Look for corroded wires at the connector for the VSS.
