Help Needed

I just became an owner of the 1992 Chevy Camaro, was pulling carpet to change out and came upon this (pics). Looking for any kind of help. Thanks.

Well u could have the floorboards replaced like I did or grind all of the rust out or grind as much as u can out and then coat it with that stop rust preventive that u can buy at ur local parts store then paint over that with rustoleum paint for extra protection. Hope this helps.

And it doesn't look like the floorboard as much as just the supports for the seat. I'd wire brush it, hose it with POR-15, and spend my time finding out where the water came from to stop it.

If the metal isn't rotted through or too thin, I would clean it with a wire brush and hit it with Rust Bullet. That stuff is dynamite.
