Another cup holder idea, have a question.
I'm not around my car right now to check, but i was curious if someone knows off the top of their head if the center console in a camaro is bigger at the top than the bottom. I could of swore it had a slight envelope to it and got skinnier the deeper it is.
my plan is to take a sheet of abs plastic and cut it to the size of the top dimensions of the inside of the center console (under armrest), and put holes in it, so it could be a removable cup holder tray.
My plans pretty much bust though if its the same width all the way down. id have to epoxy some small bars 3/4th the way up the inside for it to have a lip to sit on

IMO this tech article is best option: https://www.thirdgen.org/cupholder
Shiter plates are realtively cheap (less than $50 on ebay) if you dont want to cut on the original, or decide you dont like it and want to switch back there is no visable damage done. Only issue I see is you might have to move your drink to mess with the radio.

The best idea i`ve seen is buying a boat cupholder insert and putting it behind the window switches on the console.Yes drilling a hole is required but i think it`s the best idea and looks like it belongs there.I bought my cupholder for about $2.50.Just havnt gotten around to drilling the hole yet.
