I had a set of 4th gen seats in my 87 camaro, I found a set of 87 seat in mint cond so in installed them , now I am selling the 4th gen seats but can't figure out how to get the back off the bottom. I have the 2 bolts on the recliner mechinism side off but don't see any for the other side. any body know how to do this. Thanks

 

if you are talking about the rear seats

there are two bolts as you mention for the back, just take them out and lift the back out.

for the bottoms there is one bolt underneath the middle of the seat. reach up under the seat and you should feel it. just take it out and pull out the seat. there may be a velcro strip that holds it on a bit.

 

I am trying to get the back off the front bucket seats. I have already swaped all the seats in the car, I am trying to seperate the back from the seat for shipping. Thanks anyways.
