Steering play, up and down motion

I understand this is a common prob among our cars. Im not sure if its the steering knuckle or the tilt mech. all I know is I got the wheel off and the air bag thing behind the wheel, but I am now stuck getting the last part off. I have all three screws out from behind it, but there seems to be like a snap ring or something and I really dont know how to get it off. Any help or suggestions would be awesome thanks.

Re: Steering play, up and down motion

Thanks for all the help guys No but really, in case any of you encounter this. You have to push down on the center which is your turn mech. and all that and then remove the c clip. Good luck unless you have the tool made for that job, unless you have three hands. But then you take that out as fas as you can and then tighten up the three torx head bolts. Now you dont have to pay somebody to do it for you.
