ive looked at a few junkyards. but i cannot seem to find the same dash that is in the firebird ive aquired.

 

what year of firebird do you have

 

86. dad bought it brand new. when he let his brother borrow it he ran it into the ground.
so now im gonna do my best to restore it.

Wow, that brings back memories. My 85 base model bird had that same dash. Never really noticed that I had not seen any other cars on here with that same setup. The smaller holes are just dummy lights.

Yikes! Idiot lights! FYI, that cluster has a cable-operated speedometer in it. Just as a heads-up in case you want to go nuts and use an electronic speedometer or any other devices requiring a speed sensor input, which will require a conversion box. And any add-on gauges will require sender replacement.

They're few and far between for the later Birds, that's for sure. The one I've seen in the junkyard had the dash smashed to bits...
