Hi everyone, new to the forum here. I could really use some technical assistance with a dash swap that I performed. I have an 84 sport coupe originally a v6, now has a 350. I took the old v6 gauge cluster out and swapped it for one that came out of an 89 rs with a 305. So far the speedo works because they were both cable drive and I believe that the fuel gauge works. I know I can get the other gauges to work but I'm stumped on getting the tach to work. I had a sunpro aftermarket tach wired in and functional. My question is, can I just tap the green wire coming from my hei tach terminal into an open spot in the gauge harness to get the in dash tach to work? Thanks hope to hear back
