Speedometer question

Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 bolt Borg Warner.
Speedometer question

Okay, i have an extra 82 dash laying around, it goes to 85 and has KM on the other side (dual needle), in theory i should be able to reface the gauge and make it go past 85 by going over the KM side correct? if i remove the needle stop which comes out pretty easy.

Yeah i think im going to give it a try, its from my old 82 that im getting rid of anyhow, might as well pretty sure i can do more than 145 mph too cause 85s about not even half on the speedo on an 82... lol
