ice inside car
hello all, i went out today and started my camaro and let the car run for alittle bit and thaw out when i noticed my hatch window wasnt defrosting, well i had to get my snow scrapper out of the back of my car and just for grins and giggles i ran my finger along the hatch and its a sold sheet of ice, so im getting mosture inside my car, how do i stop this? my hatch seal looks good and it doesnt leak when its raining so im lost.

It does sound like you have a weatherstripping leak somewhere. I'd check your rear hatch, door, and t top (if you have them) weather stripping. A mis-aligned hatch can cause small leaks too (not enough for liquid water to get in, but water vapor could)

Just a guess, but if you were driving with window(s) down because it was a decent day, then when they rolled up, the moisture stayed in.
I've been thinking about getting a few "Damp Rid" things.
(( Ours is stored for winter )) but I wonder how it would work for a daily driver in winter..?.. Hope you find the source, rust sucks!!!

cars a hard top and last time i drove the car it was in november before we had any snow, the car doesnt get driven in the snow although it is outside, im gonna get some damp rids from dg, i had some ice on my weather stripping last night, i came home and found a puddle of water ontop of each of my subs from where it melted and dripped on them, so ima replace the seal since its cheap then go from there.
