Car: I have a 91 Camaro RS
Engine: 383 stroker
Transmission: Stock automatic 700r4
Axle/Gears: I have 3.73 Gears with a Eaton posi
queation about aftermarket gauges
ok down the road I was thinking about installing aftermarket gauges I know most if not all my stock gauges are electric in my 91 rs what I want to know is can I only use electric aftermarket gauges or can I use mechanical if so how and what needs to be done oh and I dont know if it matters but i might be swithching to a carbed 350 before I do anything with my gauges.

mechanical guages will require you find a way to route a temp probe and an oil line into the dash, not something that's always all that easy or clean. running electrical gauges only require you run some wiring to the engine bay (may even be able to get by with stock senders if the specifications match). the gauges are wired separate from your fuel injection harness, so what fueling system you use will not matter.

thanks that helps alot, do any of you guys have any suggestions for which gauges to use I know autometer is good but im wanting something a little m ore affordable such as sunpro etc
