Bright light switch wont engage brights.

I cant quite figure it out, but in order to turn my bright lights on I have to completely tilt the steering wheel clear to the bottom and then pull back on the lever to engage my brights. When I want to disengage my brights however all I do is pull back the stick and no matter where the steering wheel is tilted my brights disengage...any ideas or ways to fix this? Thanks guys!

A rod goes down through the steering column to the switch (lower portion of the column). I'd try an adjustment.

The actual switch is at the bottom of the column above the brake pedal. There are two small screws that hold it on. Move the lever and you can see the rod moving in/out of the switch. Loosen those screws, and adjust the switch up/down the column, then retighten screws. Set you tilt wheel where you normally drive before adjusting - it's impossible to adjust the switch where it works at all tilt settings.
