Dynamat Door Panels??
I have i think 4 sheets of dynamat i just got done fixing my door locks.
If your door locks dont work spray some wd-40 on the rods and the motor to unlock it.
But i was wondering What and where can i put the dynam mat to sound dead the doors need a idea.

Re: Dynamat Door Panels??
Had the same problem when I used SmittyMats , then it hit me, put it on the back side of the door panel cover, not on the door. As you can see them metal rods for the handle n lock would need trimmed around. Plus if you ever had to go in for something, you would have to peel it back off.
Worked out great, still block sounds.
If its an outter door skin noise, you cover the inside/backside of the outter door skin through the holes in the inner structor.

The door skins are very important. They are thin and not supported by creases like the door skeletons. They ring like crazy. Its not a lot of fun, but you can get 80% of the door skins covered by going through holes in the skeleton. I put two layers on the skins and one on the skeleton.
Also, while you are in there secure the power window motors. That vibrate like crazy without extra support.

Re: Dynamat Door Panels??
when I did mine I was putting on a new door and as such hosed down the inside of the door with a whole monster can of rubberized under coating so it stayed nice and rust free inside so that took care of it for me. But you do need something in there to take away the tiny sound of sheet metal. Like having no head linner, that roof is noisy. Was the first thing I covered SM

Dynamat the outer door panel first then work your way in.
