ok, so my 91 is getting redone as we speak, however i am in afghanistan and really the only thing i can do is buy parts at the moment, lol. It is going to be painted SOM, what i need help with is choosing 1 of 2 seat options. I want to have some orange to match the body but dont want it to look too tacky, the first one is the type x seat with just 2 streaks, and the second one is a link to a customisable seat, which i was thinking all black with orange trim. any thought or comments are greatly appriciated

To me - orange is one of those colors that's hard to match.

Mine is HOK Kandy Teal green - another difficult color to match. Everything is either too green (ie yellow), or too blue. If it were me, I'd get color swatches from everyone before I made a decision, and match it to the final paint color. I know you want to get as much 'ready' as you can from where you're at - but as the saying goes, haste makes waste - jumping the gun now could mean money poorly spent.

 

camaroracer, id leave the seats the same as the interior. like camaronewbie said orange is so hard to match. My personal opinion is let the exterior match the exterior and the interior is a whole new world. my 92rs is teal with grey/black interior. i hate the grey so i am changing the whole interior to blk bc its almost impossible to match certin colors with interior parts.
